Ashley Ragsdale

Ashley Ragsdale serves as the Assistant Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Parker University. She successfully obtained CAAHEP accreditation for the Diagnostic Sonography program in 2020 and later founded the Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonography program in 2021. She enjoys researching and launching new academic programs, including the electrocardiograph technician and medical assistant programs. 

A diagnostic sonographer by profession, Ashley brings over ten years of experience working within DFW hospital systems, including leadership experience as an ultrasound department supervisor. As a first-generation college graduate, she is deeply passionate about helping students discover their purpose and achieve their goals. She holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Administration from Texas Woman’s University, as well as a Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Abilene Christian University. 

Ashley enjoys volunteering as a site chair for JRC-DMS, a commissioner for Grapevine Recreational Baseball, and an active participant in Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS). In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Ashley is a published author, having written a children’s book centered on flying airplanes. In her spare time, she and her husband are private pilots who enjoy spending time in the skies. They share their love of aviation with their five-year-old daughter and stay busy at home with their three King Charles Cavaliers.
