Dr. Mark L. Hanson is a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Texas. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA on October 1, 1982. His acupuncture career started in 1989 which lead him to study with Third Coast Institute in Dallas, TX and American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Houston, TX and graduated with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. In 1994 Dr. Hanson became a L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist) in the State of Texas.
He is one of the few practitioners that is dual licensed as a Doctor of Chiropractic and Licensed Acupuncturist. Dr. Hanson currently practices in Dallas, TX. His practices consists of Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Dry Needling and other physical modalities.
He teaches the 100 hour Basic Acupuncture program for Parker University as well as a 300 Acupuncture Diplomat program in Columbus, Ohio. Additional acupuncture programs include Clinical Acupuncture Orthopedics, Cupping, Gua Sha, Ethics, Risk Management and Documentation.
Currently he also teaches Dry Needling Courses through the United States.
